Placing the tee shot is fundamental to this hole, and with the large hollow in the centre of the fairway and the bunker on the left creating a very tight driving hole. For the second shot, anything landing short of the subtly contoured green, that sits at an angle, will run back off towards the player. Also, there is a small ridge that runs across the green on the left, so if the pin is back left make sure you have the correct yardage to ensure you pick the right club to reach.
